well to be honest I'm pretty sure 2012 will be real, if not london will be pissed that they campaigned to get the 2012 Olympics

Here's my take on it.
Satan will descend from space/the moon, and challenge the champion of earth to a game of some sort involving balls, and some form of rings. If our champion loses, satan vaporizes the planet. If our champion wins, Satan will get all pissy and kill us all for winning.
And if the earth is destroyed, satan will fire a black hole at us.
Makes perfect sense... although I think it would be a good idea to keep the giant satan balloon out of the air for the 2012 new-years party.
