Endless Paradigm

The Hollywood Grind reported on the story of a 41-year-old man, Matthew Roberts from Rockford, Illinois, searching for and finding his biological parents. What else he found out about them was truly shocking for him.

Matthew Roberts is a grown man now but when he was in the fifth grade his sister revealed to him that he had been adopted as a baby. Finding out the information of his being adopted left him with quite a shock and a lot of curiosity about his birth parents.

Roberts admitted like a lot of children who are adopted he felt a need to find  who his biological parents  are  and maybe get a chance to know them. Roberts started his search twelve years ago by contacting the Lutheran Social Services and with some luck found his birth mother Terry in Wisconsin. They started a correspondence procedure of getting to know each other through writing several letters. Terry confirmed that she was in fact his birth mother, also that she had named him Lawrence Alexander but didn't reveal his given last name stating that she would do that in person.

Curious, Roberts pressed for more information until his mother finally revealed the shocking story and the identity of his father. Terry told Matthew that she had been raped in a drug-fueled orgy in 1967 by serial killer Charles Manson.

It was then reported that the shock of finding out the information sent Roberts into a deep depression and the realization that he was the spitting image of Manson.

Roberts revealed, "He's my biological father -- I can't help but have some kind of emotional connection. That's the hardest thing of all -- feeling love for a monster who raped my mother." Roberts continued by saying, "I don't want to love him, but I don't want to hate him either."

As for the story I really couldn't give a spoon if he was or wasn't.

And what with the public having to know anyway? Charles Manson or not, deal with it yourself man. Seriously. *sigh*

So this guy should count himself lucky regardless. His adoptive parents are more family than his biological ones anyway.
