Just like when you're high, when you're starving, your mind does weird things.
Recently, I was in such a state. I walked into a fruit shop and ordered a Big Mac.
There was some Asian dude there and he struggled to comprehend what I was asking for. After asking for a Big Mac, he asked me to explain what the hell I wanted. I was shocked to see that he had never heard of a "Big Mac" before, but anyway, he went through a back door and I just heard a lot of squabbling in some incomprehensible Asian language about something.
Five minutes later, he came back out and dumped this in front of me.

At that point, I was outraged and so hungry that I just left the store. Firstly, it's plain unacceptable to have such lowly trained staff to serve customers. Second, five minutes' wait is simply unacceptable. At McDonalds, wee require all staff to have a turnaround within 2 minutes, otherwise they have to watch the clown strip naked. And finally, does that even look edible to you?!
