What's more amazing is that sPa/\/\ bots are typically designed to target more known platforms, such as vBulletin, phpBB etc.
MyBB is barely known, and people still bother to make spambots for it...

invisionfree is safe from the evils of sPa/\/\ bots!... but their boards suck... their at least free to learn on.

You should disable registration and guest posting and try and implement a way to prevent them from registering. Like an input key or something.

You'll have to ditch guest posting all together though.

like i have on my board (not an AD) the guests can only see sign up and sign in. (hahaha) prevent spamming of the board i e-mail members to figure which are fake and which are real.

In the end you'll have to disable quick register since its an easy target for bots to attack anyway =(
