this is an odd question to ask but i think it may be like that....... these days it's actually impossible to give definite genres on music because it's all based on opinion and (sometimes) ignorance these days...... most music just ends up sounding the same these days no matter what you call it and it can create a lot of confusion..... to be honest wee should just scrap genres and appreciate the music for what it is... not the tag put onto it.....

I agree...I think wee should all start listening to random, ambiance noises.
In most cases, metal, hip-hop, and country all sound the same but it always depends on the band and its songs' lyrics. If I'm not listening to metal, I'm listening to rave music and that's extremely easy to categorize.
