someone has to be controversial and today - its me.

i DO want it hacked and so i can play pirate games, however before you get the pitchfudges consider this - i bought the ps3 second hand, i have a handfull of legit games which i paid for and which i played to death, then i got the famous blu ray death so i can't play any of my own damn games any more. its not in warranty because it was second hand and im damn sure im not paying £80 for sony to fix it and neither am i paying £50+ quid for a cheapo replacement laser which could fail next week. im not asking for a miracle im just being selfish, as i can't afford any of those options.

atm its now just a media center and that's all i can use it for, which to me is a waste of money.

well now you can round up the locals, light the torches and collect the pitchfudges. now im done.

you do know if it does get hacked, you won't be able to store games on the HDD as ISOs, they're up to 50GB a pop.

I cleaned my blu-ray lens & it fixed the problem (not reading anything)

also if you plan on replacing the blu-ray drive I would buy a legit one from a retail store.
a little more expensive but better then sending it to sony ;)

its good if it gets hacked but the sheer amount of gigs of game wee have to download is not nice at all....
