There i was this morning browsing away on the internet on my PSP. I turned it off when I was done. Literally 5 minutes ago I pick it up, flick the switch and nothing. I thought the battery had come loose like it has before so I took it out and popped it back in. Nothing. I tried plugging it in. Nothing.

It's just randomly died without any provocation. How odd...
you sure the switch isn't playing up? you sure the power board hasn't become disconnected from the main board? you sure you didn't divide it by zero?
That's what I'm checking now.

/grabs screwdriver.

If the worst comes to worst I have most of a spare PSP. (Everything except for speakers, LCD, analog stick, battery, battery cover, WiFi antenna.)
One quick rebuild later and it works again... Odd...
good job, and now for a round of applause.

Probably just a loose connector or something... Maybe it jiggle loose over time...

Anyways, all fixed.
probably a short somewhere on the battery circuit
my first thought upon reading the tittle was: did you killed it? :p
