I simply don't use my computer for gaming (expensive, bulky and weak) so seeing iterations of mice like these only help with webbrowsing or window/desktop manipulation which, is a good thing.

some blind people i know use braille keyboards to type something over the pc, and using the clicking mouse is more convenient than the one you do not hear a clicking sound mouse
but yeah there is a small market for this and some of them uses windows by the way, so its ok if apple release it, lol
by the way, is the Magic Mouse is the rebranded name for Mighty mouse? ive read it that a pc mouse company sued apple for using mighty mouse for its point-click device
I think it would make more sense if it were larger. Looks like a laptop's touchpad for the PC, lol.
I guess if you usually use a laptop, you might like it.
I get rather annoyed at touchpads though - very easy to accidentally click something.

umm.... take it this way, can you double fingered typing on your ipod touch with one slight tap each? i think not, you need to hold your finger for around half a second or so to .... ummm aim your touch correctly.
and hell, clicking with that is not clicking anymore, no clicking sounds, nor feeling.

I hate this mouse, and my hatred for Apple just increased tenfold! TENFOLD.
It's a stupid looking (just like the rest of their mice) mouse, and it has no physical confirmation that you pressed anything.
I press the left mouse button, I expect to see or feel a shift in the mouse button. The mighty mice looked stupid also, but the point was that if you click, you hear a click! You know you pressed something, and that something should happen!
If you use one of these, you might as well just use a trackpad. The benefit is that nobody can 'borrow' your trackpad while you're typing, and it never runs out of battery.

On a related ragepoint, Apple users: Do what the logo says for once; THINK DIFFERENT, and stop all being the same! Don't all skite that spoon about no viruses, and superior OS. It's not.
Also, Apple is responsible for two pieces of spyware that came with iTunes, which I DL'd from their website. How do I know? Spoon I never had before is now trying to penetrate my firewall. And it's signed by Apple. All I wanted was iTunes, (which was a piece of spoon anyway) and I got this... package of involuntary software. It just starts itself up, and pisses me off with firewall warnings, trying to connect to random IPs.
Goddamn apple. I am so pissed with apple right now, I need to scream. But I can't, there are others sleeping in the house. So I shall internet scream.
