Well, if you've used some .NET stuff, you may have noticed that MS feels it necessary to install a .NET Firefox add-on for you.
As it so happens however, the thing has security vulnerabilities, so Mozilla decided to block the add-on and automatically disable it.
Did it really help anyone anyway?
What does .NET do/supposed to do anyway??
yea my mozilla was bitchn last night about 2 add ons it blocked. one of which im pretty sure was the .NET framework
that's pretty funny; i wonder what M$ is going to say about this?
oddly enough this happened to me last night.
I finally went and added firefox's plugin "addblock" & shortly after enabling with firefox I got that pop up saying .net framework is a security risk or something, I just ignored it. Since .net framework has been on my PC for a long time now & the plugin is new soo,...I seen no issues with letting it run...
i got that error last night.
i just ignored it.
so microsoft is now the biggest company that supplies malwares (beside sony, lol)
edit: reading the news, the ms addon installed in the firefox without permission, lol
