The technology is definitely amazing!
Letter by letter transmission is not new but Google Wave took it to whole new level, it's amazing when you see some people editing a wave and some one else replies to a blip (chat style reply) somewhere in the middle of the wave while you writing a blip yourself somewhere at the end of a the wave.
The UI is pretty impressive too, it's actually amazing, it's all done in the web browser!

i asked for an invite or whatever from google but i havnt got one back yet, so im still waiting.
