Endless Paradigm

ok, so I've been dicking around with using bits and pieces of various themes to put together what i want.
to reorganize my thoughts a little bit, i wanted to restore my flash 0 and then put in the theme how i want it piece by piece.

i made a backup directory of the entire flash 0 before i started messing with any of this stuff, but when i overwrote everything on my real flash 0 with this backup, it semi-bricks it.

double you tee eff, doesn't make sense to me.

anyways, do any of you guys have a full, untouched backup of a 3.40 OE flash 0? hopefully that will solve this.

ps. not a downgraded ta-082, if that makes a difference.

edit: come to think of it... i think i messed myself up because i made the backup of my flash 0 after i had been switching themes around with somebody's easy theme installer...

If you can still get into recovery I suggest you just reflash OE.

I semi bricked as well doing this and I really don't get it either..


if anybody knows WHY.. It'd be great to 'know' the reason...

oh gawd. if u reformated ur flash, i woulda been disapointed in u. looks like ur PSP is still alive fortunately. and replacin whole flash isn't a smart thing to do

i mean, i suppose something can get corrupted in the transfer... but if i had a working backup of the flash0, i don't see any other reason why it would be a bad idea. and i haven't done any reformatting or anything... just messing around with vsh/resource.

Just reflash your psp.

As a general rule of thumb, don't replace the whole flash0.

Try not to touch the subset files ever (kd/module).

Have an entire flash0 backup, but only replace the resource and nodule folders (if customizing)
