TheEvilOne has heard this random thought already from me on -hacks. do you think sony put a hit out on him. its unlikely, but do you think its entirely impossible? think about it. while his cfw wasn't meant for the use of playing ISOs, it did open up the possibility for those without the skill to install a modchip to play them. think of how many thousands have hacked their PSPs and played games they didnt pay for. how think of how many games they have downloaded. not every one of them may have downloaded a single game, but there are many who probably download dozens. think of how much that's cost sony. they are a large company that's been around for decades. they are international. they have the money and power to not only put a hit out on someone(hell, anyone with a few thousand can hire someone to do that), but also find someone anywhere in the world. call me a conspiracy theorist, but the thought popped into my mind a week or so ago. what are your thoughts on this? if the VP can have his own personal hit squad, think of someone with 100x the amount of money can have 0o
this is mostly just a joke topic, but there is a small chance this MAY have happened, no?
meh, yeah sony only put out this thing to sold their hardware, to gain more money, then losing money with the 3rd party psp devs
can't get your point about the above post, but there are certain coutries that is illegal to download over the net, like in singapore, if they track you download any peer to peer files, or any files from filehosting sites, you may get interrogated by their police. but there are certain countries like philippines that don't have any laws about internet piracy, so wee can freely download as much as wee like, but yeah sony already knew about how cfw users are more than ofw users here, so they put out support for psp/ps3 hardware repairs, which is don't impact us so much
and wee haven't heard any person in our country that was been punished because he got a cfw psp, or any modded consoles (even nes consoles are now cheap here because of modded cartridges, 1million games in 1 cartridge, lol)
i know theyve known lol im not saying its all new to them. im saying they could have gotten tired of it and in the eve of the GO's release, put a hit out on him. its not like they can take him to court. if they could, they would have years ago. he didnt do it JUST for ISO's, it just opened the door for them. he did nothing wrong really so i guess the only thing they saw to do was kill him. this is all just random thought lol not even half serious. just thought it would make for an interesting discussion lol

no, hitting on dark alex. i just mentioned -hacks because ive said this on a thread in there and idk how many from -hacks is here, but i know that TheEvilOne saw it. dark alex was the original hacker and gave us m33. that's why i said sony may have put a hit on him. but, as said before, im not even half serious and this was just something i thought would make for a good convorsation. more odd theories, people? aliens perhaps?
