I've nearly beaten the game (Up to Shinra Tower), so I figured now is a good time to ramble on and make a blog entry. Oh yeah, I already beat Akutare's story. Final battle was easier than I thought =/

Goshi's Warriors of Light Dark!

Level 40 Blue Skull
He's my highest level and he's pretty much my best character. Magic is great in D2.
Shota though Sadist

Level 38 Prinny
First time using one in D2. They're surprisingly good though being unable to throw them is kinda annoying Erk

Level 37 Archer
They're my favorite class ^_^
She's doing pretty well. Nothing spectacular but she's never disappointing.

Level 37 Hanakage
Trying a mage build instead of a sword build. She's much much better. Her damage isn't as high as my skull's but she does a great job at wiping out groups. Her added movement gives her a bit of an edge too.

Level 36 Exorcist
Annihilates everything weak to wind in one hit. She's pretty much OHKO'd every single boss enemy I've fought so far >_>

Level 36 Angel
More or less the same as my Archer. She can heal though which is nice though she isn't as strong.

Level 34 Ronin
Outclassed by my female Samurai ==;

Level 34 Magic Knight
Magic is great though not as strong as my Kunoichi's or my Skull's. Maybe I should give her a staff instead >_>

Level 32 Fighter
Kinda useless Erk

Level 32 Genin
Keeps dying. His damage isn't the best but his high movement has saved me many times.

SEAKING
in Disgaea, there's always a map you can power level. look on Gamefaq.

lvl 100 > 3000 in half an hour, and 3000 > 9999 in 15 minutes -.-

need some preparation though
*sigh* I always try to get into Disgaea but the sheer tactical possibilities make my brain hurt Sadist

I don't know where to start with what....

I've played the PS2 version so I already know this >_>

You can pretty much take any character and make them strong in Disgaea 2 which is one of the reasons I like it. Though in the main game you'll definitely want:

- One Mage to take out Geo Symbols from far away

- A character with high MOV like a Ninja or Mothman

- Characters with decent TW (4 or above is best)

Humanoids should make up most of your party since being able to lift and throw is valuable from start to end.

There's no real tactics in disgaea (maybe some form of tactical positioning and geo puzzles but that's about it), that's one of the things I don't like about it, I prefer formulating clever strategies to win over overwhelming power but for a brain pan draining game I guess that's okay.
You can rush in and win battles as long as your characters are strong enough.

Witch class For the win
Beat it today. Final boss was a joke. I could've sworn he was much harder when I was playing the PS2 version...

I killed him with... Prinny Dance. Of all moves =/
I swear, she's stalking me
First in FFII
Then in IX
Then Tales of Symphonia
And now this game
HOW MANY PRINCESS HILDAS ARE THERE?

Its obviously just a trauma. You're imagining things.
