ok so I'm at work right now and this old lady comes in, she's having a hard time walking even with a walking stick, so I'm like (i hate old ppl by the way) "hello :mdr: "(i have to its my job) and then she makes like 3 copies, she's having the hardest time of her life getting up to the counter to pay 18 cents, she finally gets here then she take another eternity taking out exact change from her purse, she even double checks the dime and the nickel she gave me, double you tee eff? its a dime and a nickel, so then she's leaving and I'm like "thank you, have a good day :mdr: " and then she's walking outside and she (going as slow as ever) slows down twice as much when she gets to the next sidewalk block thingy (you know I'm metally challenged or something idk what its called the crack thingy that separates the siewalk blocks) and she steps ever so slowly over them, and then she finnaly gets to what i thought was her ride, no its her CAR double you tee eff you can't even see or walk right anymore and you are driving?

as much as i hate old ppl (above is one of the reasons),i have to admit that i wanted to help her Get the fudge out and get to a retirement home, please i mean either ppl should take care of their parents or put them in a home, yes i am "mean" and whatever you want to say about me but come on a little common sense never hurt anyone:
if you can't walk then don't, get a wheelchair
if you can't see, then get thicker glasses
and if you can't do either of the above, then please don't drive

i generally concur.

they do tend to lose it at that age and its true that its not nice to say it also, however they should be treated more like fragile kids when they get to that age for one simple reason - they still think they can do handstands and cartwheels, when in fact most of them can barely walk.
my gran is forever tripping on garden edge concrete things and its only a matter of time before she hurts herself - she does this because she wants to weed the garden or wants to hang out the washing or wants to fill the coal bucket (yes she can barely lift it when its empty). :/ hell she even trys lighting the fire (coal fire of course). constant vigil is required - either that or a home. i hate having to say this but its a fact, old people are more of a menace to themselves and other people than children are, simply because they believe they can still do anything.
sorry to change the mood of the topic but this is an area i don't like joking about.

This seems like a chance for me to bitch about stuff :mdr:

I don't mind old people that much, but I hate little kids (around primary school age) no end.


They do the most stupid things, and asks the most stupid questions, and try to act like they know everything when they obviously don't know anything,

they take up all the fudgein internet spots in the public libraries to play their lameass gay games like neopets and dragon quest,

they make something which is completely poo poo, and people say stuff like "ur a genius" "that's so good, it makes me so proud", and then they come and tell u off because of it, and when u tell them the truth, that it sucks, u get owned by the adults.

They fudge up stuff all the time, and when they fudge up, people blame u for it. And when they fudge up ur stuff, u can't blame them for it, cause there "still young and doesn't understand"

They like dobbing on people for stupid pointless things "excuse me, this guy over there said the S word, he is very naughty"

i have to add something to this list... yeah they try to trick you into getting free stuff...

this one guy he came about, i was working and i heard this:

"can i get a refill for my coffee?"
"can i see your cup that you had?"
"no"
"why not?"
"becasue why would i carry a dirty cup around"
"still i can't give you a refill without a cup"
"No i got coffee from you this morning ask the person who sold it to me"
"what did they look like?"
"...can i just see the manager?"
"hold on..." few seconds later... the manager asks the same question as the person arguing away before...
"i brought coffee this morning and (they) will not refill my cup."
"where is your cup?"
"i threw it away"
and blah he got away with free coffee...

I just spotted this today... How very appropriate!
