in my chrome, it opens to ep, facebook, gmail, and 4chin SUCK

i have 7 homepages

in order of where the are (first one is what appears)

Google UK
Gizmodo

Kotaku

I still don't know why EP users would USE Chrome.

Mainly because of the plugins.

Also partially because it lets you do stuff that some other browsers (eg. IE) don't, view page source, copy link location, that kind of stuff.

Exactly.. thing is the Options.... Google feels way too strict - made to be used the way Google want you to use it.
