The 5.55 LDX Beta has been proven fake a couple of times according to the following site:

But... I found the Beta-2 today that has been released a couple of days ago, the download link is below posted by Team LDX:

As the last one, its looks ultra Authentic and does install a "CFW", but since I do not have my Pandora's handy as I did testing the first Beta, I still would deem this like the last one, Highly Unstable and many options not working. Make sure your Pandora's is handy when you test this, and please give back results!!! I am ultra curious.

Why would anyone be making a 5.55 CFW when 6.00 is out

Assuming they actually have the skills to make a working CFW, they probably have the skills to decrypt 6.00, so this is most assuredly fake

I'd try it, but I'm afraid of bricking my PSP (even if I do have my Pandora's Battery with me)

I don't have my Pandora's with me now, but I tried the older beta and it wasn't a brick, just an almost unusable PSP.

Here is somethign interesting, the install took like 20 seconds round trip, but the .zip file has 296 files...how the hell did it install that fast?  Well the lua install script only installs 29 of them ... so whast up wiht the other 200+ files??? maybe they are included just for show?
