Get Xitherun to do it for you.

If your wondering how to change the eyes purple, I would open it with PhotoShop, use the magic wand to select only the eyes, and then use the Hue/Saturation adjuster to change them to whatever color you want.

By the way - I'm no Photoshop expert, but that is how I would do it...

well, i can't now. but i would still like to know how to change the color of someting like that.

In Gimp go to Colors>Hue-Saturation, and click on the blue square, then chance the hue until it turns purple, but there are blotchy spots that will appear. I don't know how to fix that.
