I have got the entire series but nevar watched it,. :/

erm not really, no
Id love to explain it but im giving away the ending,
ive already maybe 5-6 episodes of it, and yeah it has some weird animation stuff going on in this, and i thought first it was not an anime when watching with my brother, lol

Thing felt too much like a documentary.  If they hid the details under a layer like Chobits did, would be better, but in many places, I found Lain rather unexciting.  Still has some interesting ideas I guess, though many of them (from memory) seem to be used a fair bit around the place anyway.

Yeah I agree. This isn't what you choose if you want a blood-racing watch. (Watch Black Lagoon).

But it has its own degrees of interest you won't find anywhere else. Animation style included.
