Yeh this was an awesome anime,
Dissapointment if you want to watch it for the mecha part of the series
A++ if you want to watch it for the wtfness and mindfudgeing
Spoiler for For more info : Alot more info : May contain a few spoilers but more or less just general information:
Animation style And music is amazing
that's just my opinion < some charecters show the age of the anime with the pointy chins and arms very long "like in most older anime" But the eva's animation and movements aswell as the charecters are amazingly done, they seem to have put in a bit of time in effort into Movements they didnt just stop half way and bypass it like in some animes by just making still frames and make the hero talk for a bit, it seems rather the oppsite,
Allso,
Like in alot of other mecha anime,
Bad guy gives lecture to good guy,
Good guy gets hurt
Allmost dies finds some hidden power
Goes strong kills bad guy
Walks away unhurt,
typical story line
Evangalions allthough simlar
Person goes threw several stages of mental confusion Mental Pain aswell as physical
eyes pop out there head as they scream
"since they in the cockpit of there eva and there in yellow water like substence called LCL wich helps they sync with there eva "meaning they can't allways control there unit unless they can main a metal sync ratio with there eva" Also there nervous system is somehow attacted to the eva meaning if they get punched they feel it,"
Allso, they run off a huge power plug
Yes a power plug
they do have back up power,
But it works for 5 mins Only,
after 5 mins they don't get a second chance,
its power off and there left dangling inside,
and the angels they fight could just slice threw them if they wherent prepared or aware of them being near by,
And as a result of there quick actions and sometimes folish actions they get hurt and ussualy walk away with in a inch of there life,
mmmm what else
its very religious

Angel's < " the things they fight the things that try and destroy them and humans"
Rei < " speaks of god like wee are all a doll or some toy "
Eva < " the god creation in humans image " < or maybe its the other way around wee are gods creation in his image i think so it would seem that way for the eva's just in gods image? idk
But eva's also have a soul
