From the AOE2 Deathmatch signup thread...
So yeah, simply vote for whatever you know how to play, you must at least know the basics, so having played it once/twice in the past doesn't count.

I'd love to see a poll. Though I think you'd right, I reckon there was/is a rather large AoEII player base...
