You will have a total of 4x 5870 cores in your computer!!!! Put V1's GTX295 to the trash heap (considering a single 5870 alone is almost as good as a GTX295), and run Crysis @ 300FPS!!!
Core i7 wouldn't be good enough then.... What a conundrum.... Solution => Donate your system to me!
That's quite enough there.
That's rather tasty.
It looks the part.

I'm joking lol. You know I wouldn't honestly recommend anyone to buy a card that costs that much, much less two. Even one 5970 is way overkill.
My "real" recommendation was the 5770 and 5850, and none of these can beat your GTX295. Don't worry, you won't be beaten by anyone on EP any time soon.

the 295gtx is prob the first graphics card wich stand out above other cards for a long period of time now,.. before when buying a new graphics card there prob was a new and faster 1 within a month,. i can honestly say it was/is totaly worth the 500 euro when i bought the 295,. (±10 month's ago)
Looking forward to new nvidia directx11 graphics cards!! v1 is saving $$$

You can actually overclock even more, especially when you have a beast cooler. Try 3.4 or 3.6GHz.
I'm actually overclocking on stock cooler. :)
ive read on overclocking guides the i7 stock cooler can overclock quite well already on my board
i got my RAM, its chromier than a harley davidson.
i also took the liberty of actually building the computer, and leaving it without the Graphics for now. it starts, but i don't think that says anything until i know what's happening on screen.
excuse picture quality, iPhone camera craps out bad indoors.
