You can get the first episode of the second season of Gunslinger Girl -- presumably about a girl that slings guns (that's totally a lie) -- absolutely free from the PlayStation Video Store. Browse the "Anime" section of the Store, and look for the episode entitled "Distance Between Two: Brother and Sister." The offer is available on both PSP and PS3 until September 17.

I remember when they had 1st free episode of like 10 series on my tv providers "On-Demand" service

Dubbed?  Only in US I guess.
Probably a large download too.

Though releasing first episodes is probably a good way to market things.

apple / itunes does anime  like death note naruto? i think   ect ect
and you just buy it in half seasons,

death note is cut into 2 with all the eps

if they start doing that it would be instresting seeing the release of the psp go soon?
