I love how everyone is so thankful towards him when he releases something new, but once it's suggested that he's over and done with the scene, everyone turns their backs. Shows how reliable you bastards are. I don't think he's leaving; he's taking a breather.

I think most people are ungrateful, because they don't know anything other than D_A. They weren't around before he dominated the scene, and I guess they expect him to be around forever.

they don't appreciate what he's done nearly as much, because they're used to having him around, and they don't know what it was like before.

I think D_A grew tired in the scene bashing with his works, like when some people copied gpSP source code and give not the credit to the original creator Exophase, but meh, maybe D_A is "up to something", he still waits for the PSP GO if what will he get in this hardware, and might crack it together with some unhackable psps

so let it be, i hope the new pops with 6.00 has more greater compatibility so as the new cfw arrives, i can play so many ps1 games that do not require to load popsloader

and yeah, there will be a new team showing up for sure (just like when D_A leaves the scene then M33 team shows up, lol)

but when 6.00gen comes out, ill give it a try

This is stupid... D_A may have other things to do in his life. If he, or any of the Team M33, wants to quit now, its his choice. He/they have NO OBLIGATION whatsoever to make a new CFW, just because every one wants them to deliver. Be happy with what you had till now. If more comes, that's good. If not, then move on... and do wish them thanks for providing the M33 in the first place.

Also.. 90% people who are demanding a new CFW is just to play newer games... Pirated games... Not something DAX was happy about in the first place.

I think most people here are grateful for him, so there's not much to debate on this issue.
For games, there may also be a way to patch them.  I wonder what happened to the idea of DevHook... (EDIT: actually, that probably wouldn't work)

The Problem with this is, even if you buy the games, they still won't run and many people will never leave for a OFW so it's a loose loose situation until a new CFW comes up.
