well, looks like that NIS employee was right about firmware 6.00 been released on the 10th.. dutch site PS3-SENSE.nl have posted a look at the new firmware's features

features of firmware 6.00: real or rumor?

- Playstation Store Games can now be grouped and displayed in folders based on their expire date under [GAME]
- Importing of playlist from the Media GO! applications is now supported under Music
- Under [Settings] - [Network Update] has been changed to [System Update]
- The number of Colors that can be selected under [Settings] > [Theme Settings] has been increased
- In [Display Panel Close Options] under [Settings] > [System Settings], the design for the [Standard] option has been changed
- The PSP Go! system can now connect to the Internet via a Bluetooth modem such as a mobile phone

don't know if this changelog is real or not but it does seem more reasonable than the other so called 6.00 features I've been seeing posted..

internet via bluetooth is pretty pimptacular...otherwise :-/
yeah, but sadly that won't effect us old PSP users :( wonder what new colours wee're gonna be getting?
that's a pretty skippable update...
meh, another useless X.00 update from Sony.

haven't had a good one since 3.00.

still, I hope D_A releases a 6.00M33.
rip off of game categories :(  but bubbletune's version is way better!!
no sparkle?
what do you mean NO SPARKLES?!?!
What a disappointment... You would think something cool would have been added. Like, oh... anything cool really:

- native support for more codecs
- Sparkles in xmb wave
- more music visualizers
- improvements to the crappy internet browser
- maybe give ofw users youtube support
- Dynamic PSP themes
- analog support in xmb

Unless you are a Go! user who gets the blue tooth internet, this update is worthless..
I doubt DAX will bother himself for such a pointless update.  Which sucks, because all these new games are blocking cfw users...   Burning
