I beat the game a few days ago. Its fantastic, the storyline is silly and colorful and Arawn's backstory is probably one of the best written is quite a while. The combat is pretty boring though but then again, Utawarerumono wasn't much better either.
I highly recommend!
... I'll post screenshots once I get back home >_>
Played them both.
Utawarerumono > TtT. Sort of both in story (TtT has some good parts I must agree, but on a whole, Uta more solid story) and gameplay.
And Utawarerumono DOES have a better battle system. Uta is more tactical and required more thinking, in TtT, you just zerg shit, with everything on auto, pretty much, only occasionally needing actual tactical input from you.
Anyone watching the anime? I wonder how that is.
Haven't played them, though, congrats!
Can't wait for your screenshots.

Call me bias, but of course Uta's gameplay is better! Single player RTS games are horrible!
I hear the PS3 version is turn based though which would be an improvement.

Don't know much about the anime though I do know its using the redesigned characters in the PS3 version.
Have you tried beating that Leaf Tower thing after you finished the game?
I like CANNOT be bothered actually grinding for that stuff. Need to figure out how to hack the saves or something. Each floor has mobs 5 levels higher, all the way to lvl100 or something.
TtT anime is airing here, presently....

Not interested.
