Obviously I'm not talking about Emulation...
I mean, can I use my laptops screen with a PS3 which I plan on getting?
Its ports include DVI and HDMI but I don't think its possible that way is it?
Is it possible?
you could use a USB capture card but they're rather expensive and can create loads of lag

yeah I thought so... oh well
yeah, I went through this same thing with my 360.
USB capture cards aren't worth it. I ended up using my old CRT monitor.
analog tv tuner usb stick thing?
and a rf modulator
? i think
Methinks you'd just be better off just buying a cheap/second hand monitor plus a series of adapters.
Any kind of capture card is going to add latency to the picture. You may be OK with a Firewire card as they give much better performance than USB (USB is software controlled where as Firewire is hardware controlled) but most laptops don't have Firewire ports. Plus Firewire capture cards tend to be more expensive.
