The APB says the server had over 90 TB of copyrighted materials.

"Wee regard the man to be one of the leading figures behind the 'warez scene' syndicate which is responsible for all pirate copying. The police operation will help to stem the flow of pirated material onto the internet," added Henrik Pontén, an ABP lawyer.

Woah. I mean, yeah I torrent films myself, but there's no way I'd torrent THAT many films O_o

there was a complete penis head of a guy in my 6th form last year, in film studies he would always boast about how many films he has illegally downloaded, he already got fined for plagorrising his coursework i just hoped this was him getting caught again XD

how much did he get fined in the end?

lets see... max of $500,000 fine per film... id say he skipped the fine and took jail time.

It's unlikely he built the server when 1TB HDDs were out.  A whole heap of 500GB HDDs storing everything?  Must be a nice setup he has there...
