Closure Announcement of Dark-AleX.org Forum

Quote:Within the following announcement, wee announce the closure of Dark-AleX.org forum, after one year of working, more than 50,000 users, more than 170,000 messages, and more than 15,000 threads. With those statistics, that have gone generally within more than 450 messages, 40 threads and 130 new users per day, wee are more than just satisfied about the results and about what wee have reached.

There are many reasons. The forum, by itself, has been a challenge. A challenge that, without any doubt, has exceeded all of our expectatives, and a challenge that now, after all that wee have been through, wee find ourselves happy and proud of having gone this far. However, its, professionally speaking, a moment for evolving and taking ourselves a little time for relax and so wee can study what's next.

Since the beginning, the people' answer has been something amazing and indescribable, something that wee won't have enough grateful words, and that fills us of satisfaction. This support has been so huge that wee have found ourselves overwhelmed, and when wee wanted to give the deserved service for each user, wee have gone into problems and wee have got to take this hard but consistent decition; that, the same way as wee wield a smile when all this was starting, this last decition makes us sad, but wee know that is the best choice at the moment.

Again, thanks to all, to our moderators, to our friends, to our old and new partners, to the English Zone and their help to this project, and everyone of you that have helped us on any terms.

Lastly, if any user is interested on recovering any part or any thread of the forum, please contact with the following e-mail: alek@dark-alex.org so wee can deliver what you need.

And remember, you always have to your disposal our IRC as a place in where you can chat, you can laugh with us, and as a cool reason to make a reunion and remember old times, as after all this is not a "goodbye", but a "cya" ;-)

If anything, maybe Team M33 will have more time to work on PSP now.
It sounds like the forums had become a very busy chore for them.

Would explain the many months wee've had to wait for not a single update.
I hope to see a new M33 soon cause I'm tempting to go to 5.50 GEN, which I don't really want to do.

Hopefully D_A will release a new CFW when there's another big Sony update.

i bet hes waitiing for the pspgo!... remember, pandoras battery was supposed to not be released until psp 2000. it was leaked. he probably didnt release anything because hes saving it, and he probably didnt tell anyone because he doesn't want another idiot to leak it before its time.

I never really went on the forums, except for if it was concerning one of his releases.

I hope GEN continues the work if DA will be leaving the scene. A new CFW for 5.55 is really needed now. Soul Calibur is out and it requires 5.55 to run

DAx have more time to make new CFW.

My donkey U mption is that DA is waiting for the GO to come out so whatever tricks are up his sleeve can't be patched ..... hopefully .....  i would love for some custom themes on a new psp :)  I just wish they would get passed the black and white only :(  would REALY like for a Blue psp this time...but I would take silver over black or white...but black will probably be my choice...and I think I have a way to do it...in march my wife wants to vacation *with our then to be 6 month old  baby*  i want to go on a cruise, but my parents and sister and her kids are going to mexico and wife wants to do that..so I said I would probably need a new PSP in order to survive in mexico NOT on a cruise :P  WOOWOOOOO!!!!!
