i want a wireless mouse for my laptop, because my hands keep bumping the touchpad when im typing and then i end up typing somewhere else (annoying)
Id like a small one, but not a micro, those are just irritating. also, id like one that's got a scroll wheel.
I was looking at this one: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/produ...id=1003767
or this one http://www.nextag.com/Verbatim-96899-Nan...E09781AF8E
The nano adapter seems convenient, and i like that it comes in purple. but it also seems a bit on the expensive side...

Any suggestions?

Ahh that always happens to me.

I can suggest for you to not get a targus mouse because they always drain the battery so fast. It's usually done in about 3 days for me.

Nanana

I saw that at best buy lol.
these 3 words don't go in the same sentence...good...wireless...mouse...

I am a wired kinda guy...need the reliability cause i hate when the batteries flake out and it starts skipping around.

Download the mouse control panel software and look at the thumb guard sensitivity or something so it will ignore the taps.

I hate in ubuntu when my thumb taps the mouse pad in the top right corner it pastes random spoon that I didnt even know was in my clipboard.
batteries are an issue, but just have two goos sets of rechargables, and there will never be a moment when batteries are an issue

Obviously i wouldnt say to pay this much for it, but i got a combo set with Skype functionailty, and this came with the package. Its EXTREMELY comfortable (in fact, im bolding that as well), even more so than some of my older, now dead gaming mice, though not all, has battery life with decent batteries of about 1200 hours i reckon, possibly more as ive never really timed it, but it lasts about 10 days, and i can be on my PC for 16 hours a day at times, with quite expensive rechargables mind, and is fairly nice looking, moreso if your lappy has a colour scheme that co-incides. Apparently the batteries can last for ages if you turn it off after use...but i never do so meh

That's a good point. but when i look at wired mice, theyre typically much more expensive than wireless mice, because theyre all "gaming" mice...
Or else theyre just poo poo...

I don't think i would really mind a wired mouse (hell i only use my wired 360 controller) i think ill look into that.
For cheaper wired mice, quality brands like Logitech shouldn't disappoint...
i'd recommend the one i have but its expensive (i got it for cheap on black friday)

its a travel mouse, although is bigger than the ones around (its around 4 inches x 2.5 inches)

its laser, and mine has had the same batteries since the day i bought it (almost a year ago), and it has a micro dongle for a set it and forget it kind of thing...
