I was debating between the 360 and the PS3. But its rather hard to find non-Arcade versions here...
360 sucks..who wants to pay for access to play online each month :(
plus ps3 has a web browser, themes, much easier streaming support for videos from pc to ps3, blueray, (do they even make HD DVD anymore?) xmb which is more intuitive than the NXE, linux support :D , a better controller, ... i can go on, but you know you made the right choice :)
Look at it the way I have...wee are 2+ years behind on the system..enjoy some of yester years big hits for 1/2 to 1/4 the original price! Sure some new games are worth the $60 with the thousands that play it online, but it feels real good to get a kick donkey game for $12-20 ;)
although i agree, but you do not want to first/second year PS3 owner, they sucked back then

Heh, when I 1st read the title, I thought he bought a Bluray player with an 80GB HDD built in. «-- don't even know if you can get Bluray players with HDDs built in. Probably not.
i got my PS3 on march 23rd (UK launch) and it's still going strong
my ID is ProperBritish, by the way. Just like my Username on here. i have rock band 2, resistance 2, MotorStorm 2:Pacific Rift, Call Of Duty 4 etc.
Sadly though, I don't have any extra routers so no Internet for the PS3 as of now...

LOL! In my neighbourhood, even if I set up a 100gbps, unsecured, free-access WiFi, I doubt I would find anyone would even know it was there!
Remember, this is the neighbour hood that gave me a iPod 30GB found about 20 meters away from my place without even asking if I owned it or not,....
No... but I'm going to buy a wireless router after work today.
