the main icon text doesen't really look that good in vertical position
i guess the stars are the battery

PSPlex sounds a bit... nah... stupid? what about calling it slide cards? its upon your decision ^^

Very nice.   The layout looks like that of "splash" theme.  
My suggestion would be to do something with the battery that helps fill the rest of the xmb.
