Please, I'd LOVE your C+C... suggestions on parts to make the cost more efficient. lower it, but keep the performance. :D All of the parts except the i7, I'm willing to change. I know the combined knowledge of all of us will make this thing kickass.
For gaming?
I assume you don't already have a case?  Optical drives?
i have no case. i, actually have a completely clear case, but its in bad nick. Ill probably remove the cathodes and LED fans from it and stick them in here.

Optical drives! I knew i forgot something!

Added to the list.

Yes, I'll be looking to game on this, with my TV as a monitor. If I can, when my room is redecorated i will get a second screen also.
It looks pretty good. but id say go for a larger hdd. if ur gonna use it for gaming and music and probably video too, 500gb can fill up faster than you expect.

heres a 1tb hdd for $99: http://www.microcenter.com/single_produc...id=0281709 (its still a 7200rpm, so i don't think youll lose any speed)

keep in mind im in the UK. I've heard that 1TB HDDs are unstable sometimes.

ive never heard that about 1TB HDDs. And i don't think that it would be that much more expensive in the UK. is this computer on a budget? if so, you should post how much so wee know how much wee have to work with...
As long as the price doesn't increase, im cool :P

If anything it should decrease a bit.
sounds good lol. check to look and see about more storage, though, seriously. maybe put in two hdds if your worried about 1TB bugs. Youll be surprised how fast you fill up a hard drive.
Phenom II X4 940 or X3 720 + GTX 275 would be a fair bit better than your build in games, but you're sticking to i7 (which is really a waste for gaming)...
Go for cheaper RAM if you can find any.  That card reader is fairly expensive lol.
ill look up the Phenom II X4 940, actually. See if the price changes. Ive looked at the benchmarking and they're not that different on frames per second.
