i just say this for you are going from xp things are getting alot more demanding from there.my little lappy is a dual core at 3 gigs a side kinda deal and its all it can do to run win 7 ultimate.

So, I installed Vista, can't wait to get the hell off of it.  I've never done an upgrade before, the upgrade has its own key, right?  So the fact that its a cracked version of Vista wouldn't matter then.  I've got a q6600 with 4gb of ram, its got the power to handle it.

I don't see the reason to hate vista it's a pretty decent OS.
I am on Vista SP2 64-bit and it's pretty awesome.

I will be upgrading to WIN7 though, I mean just look at it's name, WIN 7.
It's name alone implies greatness. I have to say, I have been using the evaluation copy build 7100 for a while now, and I haven't had any problems with it since. I do love this OS.

Yeah, you're probably right, I've been running Vista for the past week, its not as onerous as it once was.  I have sp2 installed, so most of the hate I have is from my past two tries at it.
Yes, each version (in different classes) of Windows uses different keys.  The Vista crack will most likely be deleted in the upgrade.
Why don't you just "obtain" Window's 7 the same way you did with Windows XP?
Works fine for me, lol.
because with all the offers being thrown around by M$ to try and get market share on 7 and finally kill XP, its hardly worth the hassle
