Im a n00b anime watcher, so i don't think i have enough in my arsenal to show off xD
that and the fact is that this is my only forum xD
But yeah, i'd have to admit it is a lot better than anime planet :P

But alas, that's how things are sometimes
Then again, i would assume that people could show off reviews and such so people have a good idea of what they watch. Funnily enough people judge people on whatever they do, so i guess this is no different. Also, i would assume by having an anime list that people can suggest animes that others would find interesting and as such someone's character or how they act could make all the difference of suggesting something.
E.G. I wouldn't watch naruto because you have narutards who just love it, but when i see someone of sound intelligence watch naruto; then i would be inclined to pick it up (either way, it's still a REALLY bad show; if you could describe it as such, show doesn't really work).
by the way, if im not obvious enough; i like to rant
lol, i only watch worthful animes, not to showoff, anyway that a cool stuff to know some anime titles you even don't know, but meh, i always check on some reviews on animes

I'm not saying you shouldn't have an anime list. It's perfectly fine having an anime list. I'm just saying it's not a competition to have the biggest anime list. Having watched more anime doesn't make someone more awesome and hardcore than someone who watched less.

Heh, some time ago, I saw a thread somewhere (not here on EP) where people were showing off how much hentai, h-games and JAV (Jap hershey kisses) they had... . And some of these kids have SHITLOADS (one kid had like terabytes).

What's wrong with competing in that? May be against what the majority of western people do, but no-one gets famous by following the pack anyway :P
