dunno whot you mean with slow but cf550gen functions with the same speed as 500m33,.

550gen got some feature's i def like more then the things 500m33 can do,. ;p eg the XMB recovery! for making theme's testing offsets,.
Also i like the sub folders in 550.

you can have the sub folders on 5.00 m33 and the only thing 550 can do is just the xmb recovery and the pandora option menu which you don't need cause you got recovery flasher and psp Tool, so 5.00 m33 = still the best cfw to have!!
