Anyways i think i might be able to compile an applicable eboot.

If you don't hear from me about this again then it didn't work.

The only way to make it work is make a custom installer that uses the data.psar file.  trying to create an eboot from the files in the update folder to create a real sony update will not work because there are keys and signatures that are unknown that it looks for.

DC8 ofw 5.55 mod allows you to install the OFW 5.55 firmware from Sony.

To build build 555.PBP you need param.sfo , icon0.png and data.psp from the 5.00 eboot and data.bin of G.I.JOE UMD.

Tested and it works!
