Endless Paradigm

Hello there guys,

Its Mime! I haven't been on in a while! and I hope all of you are doing good! I went away from the PSP Scene long ago. but I still know my stuff ! just need to refresh my mind on a lot of things I used to do. As wee speak im on a Phat PSP CFW 3.90! Yes that's old as hell!..... You guys can see im outdated.

I had a few questions before doing the BIG jump to whatever the latest Custom Firmware is...  If im not mistaking "5.50 GEN" Looks like Darkalex said bye bye to the scene??... im clueless..

1. If its not of a problem.. Would you guys direct me to an easy installer from 3.90 to 5.50 GEN? is it possible? or I have to like go to a series of Versions to get to 5.50 GEN?

2. Is 5.50 GEN 100% able to be customized like my good ol' 3.90? Gameboots, opening-plugin image/sound, custom icons, vhsmain hacks, xmb sounds? etc etc ?  

[b]3. [/b]  Despertar del Cementerio does it still work on high up firmwares? like if I F up on 5.50 GEN.. Can I still use it? I think the lastest one was DC it would take you to 3.90.. IS there new versions ouT? just askign since I think darkAlex is out...

4. I remember 3.90 was the @#% back in the day because you could use PNG as icons but it kinda sucked because the internal memory was 4mb. or so.. so the icons wouldn't show up :P   anything NEW? I should know about this 5.50 GEN? any new features?

You can go direct to 5.50 GEN from 3.90 GEN. This was made possible since 3.80 M33 I think.

Nids change sometimes over firmware updates. The only thing that is universal are gameboots.

DC = Pandora. It works on any firmware provided that you have everything setup.

idk. Dark Alex never retired. He just makes firmware releases when they're needed.

Also I don't know much about GEN firmware, using 5.00 M33-6 at the moment.

wow 3.90? lol, but that's is not quite old, so yeah you havent miss a lot, but so many great things have been updated and new games
