yeah ive remember ive turned down a girl invite for the seniors prom that i say "It was only a waste of money and time". Then im totally waste my money and time playing playstation, lol
I didn't terribly enjoy mine. Mostly people just talking -- can do that at school without paying all that money and wearing a suit... Some people also decided to come in limos which probably cost more than the tickets and suit hire put together.
Dance floor was absurdly small as well, place was just meh. Wee didn't have stuff like you did, so lucky you!
its not much more on mine really, speech > eat (cold meat + vegies) > random crappy DJ with mainstream gangster music on.
but yeah, i enjoyed it somehow

Eh, could be just the environment. I didn't find mine really special or anything, and everyone didn't really seem that different (apart from being dressed more formally).
mine was worse than a normal day at school for most of it, i just stood there like a lemon most of it while everyone talked in a group and kept on trying to nudge me out =(
the dancing was hilarious though XD, i brought ps3 Home dance moves to the dance floor XD
