well the slim can't run homebrew for 1.5 yet. . . it says on the 3.60m33 that there is no 1.50 kernel/. . .
SchmilK Wrote:hmm...looks as though this isn't friendly wiht the 3.60 rco and a 3.52 sysmem.prx  :(   press X on my psp phatty and it eventually shuts the psp off.

Resurssiklunssi  won't run on the slim :(
Interestingly, Resurssiklunssi works perfectly fine here...
I'm using v0.3 and a decrypted 3.30 sysmem.prx.  Haven't bothered trying any other combination.

By the way, the TV menu in topmenu is back :P
hmmm...i need a better sysmem.prx :(   off to go looking.

Hmm...is the problem with me that i am using a sysmem.prx from an OE firmware instead of extracting from official firmware?  trying that now.  ;)
^ I just uploaded a decompressed 3.60 RCO pack here if you want... : http://endlessparadigm.com/forum/downloa...ad&did=217
aww sweet....i didnt cheat and use an oe 3.30 sysmem and now mine works.  :D  Thanks for the upload!!  At least i learned something.  :D
damn sony and their new file checks wee don't know about :(  tried recoloring the glow from white to blue, recompressed, changed file dates to match files on psp, reset attributes STILL it won't boot :(
Hmm, interesting.

Try doing this, tell me if it works:
  1. Open a decompressed RCO (let's use topmenu) from 3.5x
  2. Extract one of the main icons as a DAT file (not BMP)
  3. Open the decompressed 3.60 RCO, and replace the same icon with the DAT file
  4. Flash and see if it works - if it does, then RCO Editor is screwing up BMP»MIG conversion...
1.  Decompressed unedited rco will not boot.
2.  Decompressed unedited then recompressed rco will not boot.
3.  Decompressed replace tex_system with tex_system.dat from 3.52 rco will not boot
4.  Decompressed replace tex_system with tex_system.dat from 3.52 then recompressed rco will not boot
5.  Recompressed the decompressed and re-applied the +rash and set file dates to created 1/1/1980 11:12:12AM  and  Modified 12/31/1979 11:00:00 PM will not boot

6.  Attrib -r-a-s-h on original topmenu_plugin.rco PSP BOOTS!!
7.  Attrib -r-a-s-h on original topmenu_plugin.rco and set all file dates to today PSP BOOTS!!
^^There goes my idea of the files requiring those attributes, when actually sony just set those attributes to hide the files from us.  :P
Original topmenu ≈ 202kb
Uncompressed ≈ 302kb
Resurssiklunssi compressed topmenu ≈ 232kb

*My thought* some file is holding a file length for the rco files maybe?
Oh snappolla

Seems CXMB works on the slim!  :X
