The second one doesn't have the "Chrome OS Icon" that the "leaked" screenshot has so I think you're right FBR.

this is just a new shell on top of the linux kernel?

if so, then are the console commands restricted and is superuser disabled? or is it a full-on installation. i might be persuaded to try it, but, remembering the google chrome browser, tis probably too noob friendly, and removes all the really powerful parts of linux.

why would they pick suse?
what's wrong with debian, fedora, LFS, archlinux, slackware, and all the others??
it seems really random that they would pick suse as their base distro.

considering google is this multibillion dollar, multinational company, i would expect them to code their own distro off of the kernel, not simply reskin an existing distro.
