So i got Evangelion 1.11 converting rightnow, its 8.4gb so surely not gonna go in my USB, i heard about redkawa and stuffs, tried but it doesn't really work for some reason. (the computers + PS3 in my network isn't connected locally by the way, im not sure how to set this up) anyone know what should i do now? either another way or a good tutorial/program for this?
or split into several smaller files..
my HDD is fried, and spliting it will ... kindda ruin the movie =.=

no it won't...the ps3 will play from file to file with no skips :)
try converting it to an AVCHD video using multiAVCHD or tsMuxer
I prefer multiAVCHD since you can create menus and such
and it knows what the PS3 likes and doesn't like
You probably won't need a conversion either (other than maybe audio conversion and subtitle)
you can also split the movie file with no skips
get an extra sata cable and plug and power the ps3 hard drive as a second internal on your pc then copy the files over.
then plug it back in ps3
networking pc's and ps3 isn't that hard - if you have more than 2 pc's connected then you already have everything you need. a router typically has 4 ports (so that means 3 pc's and one ps3 or whatever else) the problem becomes a little trickier if your trying to use wireless but the ps3 has a wizard for this and the worst part is setting up your router with a key (and these days most are already set with one). the manuals for both devices should walk you through it.
hmmm guess ill split it to minimize the trouble then =/
