This is pissing me off...I'm downloading a torrent that's 6.5 GB (iPC 10.5.6 with LiveDVD). I started it yesterday and when I did, I was only getting about 3-5 kbps....Well I edited my firewall a bit and it was getting around 100-125 kbps saying I had about 21 hours left on it so I left my laptop here at work so it could download over night....I get back anbd it's only got 21.1% done and it's downloading at 10 kbps. Uhh

Any of you know a way to fix this? It could be that one of the main seeders left, but I don't know.

The leechers for this suck, too. I got a guy downloading at 1.7 mbps. Nana-o
бгг :D
u can just TURN OFF all firewalls, u don't need 'em, just use linux
I usually do use Linux. But I was in Windows when I started it and didn't want to restart it in Ubuntu.

lol... Just because you're in Linux doesn't mean you're immune to everything... Granted it's a lot better than Windoze, but Linux isn't invincible...
I don't get it...I'm using the WebUI to check it here and now...This is what it's saying.

Private torrent or public??
Public.
Late, but when you were getting good speeds, it's probably a good idea to check who's actually uploading at that speed for you.  If it's like one or two crazy fast uploaders, there's the possibility that they leave and you get stuck with a slow speed.  But otherwise, there probably isn't terribly much you can do (assuming this isn't a firewall/router/NAT issue).
