meh i don't usually use torrent files, just for hard-to-find stuffs, but yeah a great loss for TPB, they will now release only unlicensed stuffs because of license and copyright issues, lol

Meh, at least mininova will still be around.  Top three: the pirate bay, mininova, and demonoid.  Your file will always be somewhere you can find it.  Sorry, still expecting it to go down now that it is August.

mininova has been having hard times as well.  A Italian anti-piracy group has been trying real hard to take it down.

But isn't that always the case with high traffic torrent sites? Remember how many times pirate bay had to defend itself in court? Or just how recently demonoid got back up from being shut down?  It happens.  But there'll always be another site to take its place.
