Also if you want the auto sign-in feature of the PS store use these 2 files from 5.50 npsignin_plugin.prx and npsignin_plugin.rco.
I'm also using the 5.50 version.txt ,but don't think it makes any matter.

Are you flashing the files?
If not Update to 5.50
Don't try to flash the files as some things probably won't work properly.

So UPDATE TO IT DON'T FLASH THE FILES

yea thanks man, it works. But when the 5.50 version.txt is enabledei can't seem to sign into the playstation store, keeps coming up with a conection error that i have never had before, when i flash back to the 5.03 version.txt i don't have this problem.

any suggestions?
