And the computer is running a lot more faster, and here is why.

When I first bought my computer it had 2gb of Samsung PC2-5200 ram

then one of the sticks crapped out and so Dell sent me a replacement which was a Kingston PC2-5300 RAM stick . It all went downhill from here.

The computer was running slightly slow, so I bought a 2gb stick from Crucial after I used the program they give to scan my computer and it said to get it.

A few weeks ago I noticed that my computer doesn't take more than 1gb sticks in each slot :S so I told Crucial, and they said they can't find the order number and they won't take it back.

About 2 days ago I went on Ebuyer.com and bought two 2gb of PC2-5300 sticks. They came today and I put them in (removed the 2gb and the 1gb PC2-5200 Samsung) and guess what, MSN has not crashed *touchwood* I have had firefox with 10 tabs open, windows media player,MSN with 6 chats and one transfering a file, and transfering a 1gb file to my pendrive and only a slight lag in the system. Hopefully it all runs smooth now *touchwood*

So if anyone needs a 2GB crucial 240 NON-ECC unbuffered PC2-5300 ram stick im happy to sell it to you. Same specs except 1gb PC2-5200 stick for the Samsung

oh and it is true, dells aren't spectacular; customs are better :)
downgraded from 4gb to 3gb
ahhh i see now, if you mobo only takes 1gb per slot you should look into a new mobo
