certain Apps require this folder alone. such as gsSP kai (i don't use anymore) and some of PSP's other emulators.
i get the GAME CANNOT BE STARTED error after the gameboot which it's now white without the logo.
then i moved some of the data to Game340... it shows up as corrupted data.
what is wrong?
Try sticking it in GAME150 and checking the settings in the recovery menu.

I don't get you on that part...
Should look something similar to ms0:/PSP/GAME/
somefolder/EBOOT.PBP
Did you do any vshmain.prx customizations?
As for Game150. same as Game340.
and no i haven`t tried modded any file containing .prx
it`s just certian programs don`t work in the other folders...
no becasue i moved Snes9xtyl to GAME to tried it and the error above popped up and some game they have icons while in the Game folder but when you move them to another folder they just become bad data icons.
this for my 32Mb stick and 1gb stick

im pretty sure he means some apps have absolute paths (i hexed an eboot to get around this for someone before - see my sig) so those ones are required to be in the ms0:/psp/game/whateveritscalled/ folder.
anyway on topic - format the stick using the psp then copy a single app over (a known working and not corrupt one - best to download something) see if it works - if not then check your settings in recovery menu - some of them cause this kind of problem. if it still won't cooperate then you may have to reinstall the firmware and if that still doesn't get it it could be the mem stick slot is on its way out, but that's remote.
tried that... failed. Recovery will point to game150 first
turned off all your plugins?
turned off no umd mode?
changed plain modules, execute boot bin, and isofs driver in various combinations?
tried using the memory stick in a card reader on your pc (if you have one) and copy something to it then back off and make sure the copy is not corrupt?
if you did all that suspect firmware or the card reader in the psp.
No plug-ins installed
UMD was always on. even i turn that off, it still reads my UMD.
haven't changed a thing in that sense. i did downgrade though.
i need a MS pro converter first, but mine has one installed.
Card reader is fine...
same problem trying to play AVIs on this thing
