Wouldn't it be cool if you could run Remote Play from your laptop, desktop, or
perhaps your phone?

After 2 weeks of hardcore reverse-engineering, now you can!

I would like to thank Dark_AleX for hacking the PSP.  Without his work, ORP
would not be possible.  I would also like to thank TyRaNiD for psplink and
prxtool.  Using psplink makes this type of work almost painless!  Thanks to
jas0nuk for the essential PRXdecrypter utility.

Controls

The player currently implements these keyboard mappings:

ENTER           X
F1              Triangle
F2              Square
ESCAPE          Circle
PAGE-UP         L1
PAGE-DOWN       R1
ARROW KEYS      D-Pad
HOME            PS Button

CTRL-D                Toggle through window sizes (normal, medium, and large)
CTRL-F                Enter/exit full-screen mode
CTRL-Q          Quit Remote Play

Not implemented, yet:
START, SELECT, and the analog nub.

I wanted to try it but the PSP app crashes on gameboot for me and shuts the PSP off...

EDIT: Worked on second try^^

EDIT2: Works fine with one exceptions, I can't trigger fullscreen or anything with CTRL for that matter.

Now I can finally monitor my demo downloads without turning on my TV^^

yeah, checking download is the only thing i use remote play for, ill check the internet remote play sometime, checking download at home from a friend house would be great

hay that was really cool to bad I can't make the screen any bigger though lol

yes, cannot larger screen..

but i think even wee can enlarge it, it's not a good option too. screen output from PS3 should be 480x272..

Maybe wee can somehow request the PS3 to send a 1080p signal.

Anyways I just noticed it's an easy way to show off your PS3 XMB^^
