So yesterday i wass looking for some stuff on e-bay,. i am now tracking an object and i had some pm's with people,.
A few minutes ago i got a mail that i bought something and was late with payment,. i was like WHOT Frozesweat

The "4059529933" number is a link and turns out to be unsave in IE8 none the less i contacted ebay in a chat session and they told me there was no such bid,. pfffff!!

Whot i don't get is:
-How did they know i was on ebay,. i have't been on ebay for like month's
-Whot do they intend to do with mails like this,.>!?

the sender was: "eBay" <gmfan34@sbcglobal.net>

EDIT: i must say E-bay chat service is very helpfull!!
lol, I got an email from 'Paypal' telling me about an overdue payment or something. I don't even have a paypal account.

So I think they  just send these out randomly, and hope you have an account.
yeah, i got one from Abbey National Bank at the weekend


Fairly professional looking, only a couple of typos
Asking me the usual, confirm my bank details etc


Only problem, I'm With Natwest....
lol a friend of mine once got a mail that he illegally download stuff, it was pretty authentic apart from a few typos and a dubios sender, but the shown IP that he was supposed to download with was nowhere near the german IP range xD
That's still an odd email though - I can't see too much that the sender actually gains from this, unless they love imagining people on the other side getting into a slight panic.

The number in the email is this link but it is "unsave page" says IE8 or Norton.

Still weird they knew i was active on ebay??

maybe some seller i pmed gave away my email>!?
They might not have, they could've just sent the email out at random, and hoped you have an account.
