How do i get the extra icons such as skype on psp phat for fw 5.00...

What do i have to hex in vshmain.prx?

i think skype is for slim only if I'm not mistaken, then set your region to europe so that go msgr will come up!! it's been so long not having my psp on hand.

there's no skype icon in phat psp, you can only ad go messenger icon in europe region setting if you have not upgraded to 5.02 which removes go messenger support

I've had the skype icon on my phat psp before. It don't work but it's possible to have it on a phat. Forget what theme I used.

I wonder why... because the reason it isn't for phat is because it has a lack of memory to run it, apparently.

Whatever, i just asked for the skype icon... Nothing else , so please stick to the subject

use takeshi's xmbcw to edit the region and psp type that those icons display on.

just hex editing won't work because there are 2 tables and a reference bit that davee found that xmbcw takes care of :)  Plus xmbcw is MUCH easier to tell what is going on.

Well i tried what you said but the icon didnt show up....

I've changed skype's show value from "2000" to "YES" and REGION value from "-" to "EU"
and replaced my vshmain.prx with the new one but nothing appeared

How can i fix that?
