meh your lucky you have warranty mines 3 years old with some chipped plastic on the lower body case, blackbook ^^

opened mine up and there is no sign of warranty stickers and such
added artic silver thermal and reduced its temperature by 15c

usually, as has been stated, if you don't break the sticker, its still in warranty


Unless specifically stated otherwise, laptop backplates are usually fair game, as long as you replace all screws, and original RAM if you changed it when returning under warranty (well...RAM is more a suggestion, you usually end up with a refurb and your RAM gone under warranty repairs....not what you want)
